Comparison
Two of the names on your shortlist are the same company
This is a comparison written by one of the vendors, so start with the part that costs us something: Sign In App’s entry tier is cheaper than we are, by a wide margin, and for some sites it is the right buy. What follows is the rest of the picture, with every claim about anybody else linked to their own published source.
Competitor facts checked September 2026. Published prices move — check any number here against the vendor’s own page before you decide on it.
Who owns whom
The market consolidated while you were not shopping
If you last looked at visitor management three or four years ago, the list you remember is out of date in a way that matters. Two things happened.
One company
Sign In App and SwipedOn
Sign In Solutions, a PSG Equity portfolio company, took SmartSpace Software plc private in May 2024 in a recommended cash offer. SwipedOn was SmartSpace’s visitor product, and it was the seventh acquisition Sign In Solutions had made since August 2021. SwipedOn’s own blog now redirects to signinapp.com.
Now Eptura Visitor
Proxyclick
Condeco acquired Proxyclick in January 2022, months after taking growth investment from Thoma Bravo and JMI Equity. Condeco then merged with iOFFICE and SpaceIQ to become Eptura, and in 2025 Proxyclick was renamed Eptura Visitor — one module of a workplace management suite rather than a product in its own right.
Not nothing
What that means for you
None of this makes their software worse, and consolidation is not a scandal. What it changes is who you are buying from: a roadmap set by a suite rather than by visitor management, a support organisation that grows and reorganises, and an account manager you will meet more than once. If two names on your shortlist turn out to be one company, your shortlist is shorter than you thought.
We are on the other side of this and it would be convenient for us if you found it sinister. It is not sinister. It is ordinary software consolidation, and the only reason it is on this page is that it changes what your shortlist actually contains.
Side by side
Only the things that are published facts
There is no feature checklist here, and no row where we score ourselves against somebody else’s software. Those tables are written to be won. These are structural differences and published prices, which is the part you can verify.
| Noon Elite | Sign In App | Eptura Visitor | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Published price | £150 a month plus VAT per site, on the pricing page. Modules £150 each. | Core £415, Enhanced £835, Pro £1,255 per site per year, on their pricing page. Executive is quote only. | Not published. Quote only. |
| Hardware | iPad and stand included in the monthly price, and replaced by us if they fail. | Optional and sold separately. You buy the iPad, the enclosure and the printer. | Not published. |
| Who installs it | We do, on your site, including setting up your site rules and training reception. | Self serve. Onboarding sessions are bundled from the Enhanced tier upwards. | Not published. Scoped as part of the quote. |
| Who you speak to | The engineer who wrote it. There is one of us, and that is the trade. | Email and chat on Core, priority support from Enhanced, telephone and a dedicated account manager on Pro. | Not published. Set by the contract. |
| Owned by | Noon Elite Ltd, company 17223153. One shareholder, no investors. | Sign In Solutions, backed by PSG Equity. | Eptura, formed from Condeco, iOFFICE and SpaceIQ, backed by Thoma Bravo and JMI Equity. |
| Breadth | Visitor and contractor sign in, and modules for it. Nothing else, ever. | Visitor management plus desks, scheduling and time and attendance, priced as add-ons. | One module of a workplace management suite covering space, assets and maintenance. |
SwipedOn is not a separate column because it is not a separate company. Envoy is not here because we have not found a published UK price for it, and a column of “contact sales” tells you nothing you did not already know.

When we are the wrong answer
- You want the lowest software price and you will handle the rest. Sign In App Core is £415 a site a year. That is less than a third of what we charge, and if you are happy to buy an iPad, mount it, configure it and support it internally, they are the better buy and we will tell you so on the call.
- You have twenty sites, or five hundred desks. At that size you want a vendor with a support rota, a status page and an account team. We are one person. That is a genuine risk at scale and no amount of copywriting changes it.
- You are buying desks, rooms and visitors together. If the actual project is workplace management and visitor sign in is one line of it, a suite is the right shape of purchase. We do not do desks and we are not going to.
- You need something today. Self serve platforms let you sign up this afternoon. We need a conversation and an install date.
Buy from us
When we are the right one
- You want one number, not a tier ladder. Everything is £150 a month: hardware, hosting, support, replacements, updates, and every user and visitor you have. Nothing is gated behind an upgrade and there is nothing to true up at renewal.
- You want somebody to turn up. Install, configuration and reception training happen on your site, in person, inside the setup fee. If a unit dies on a site an hour away, that can be somebody driving over.
- You want the thing changed, not roadmapped. Different sign in wording, a different badge colour, a different alert. With one engineer that is a conversation. With a platform it is a feature request behind a hundred others.
- You are a manufacturing site with an auditor, not an office with a lobby. Most of this market is built for corporate receptions. Contractor RAMS, permits to work, goods in traffic and a roll call that includes the contractors and drivers who sign in are the parts we built first because they are the parts our customers get asked about.

Before you ask
The questions this page tends to raise
Is Noon Elite cheaper than Sign In App?
No, not on the software licence. Sign In App publishes Core at £415 per site per year against our £1,800, so on price alone their entry tier wins comfortably. The comparison changes when you add what each price contains: ours includes the iPad and stand, replacement hardware, on site installation, configuration and reception training, and every feature we have. Theirs is a licence, with hardware sold separately and features tiered across Core, Enhanced and Pro. Whether that difference is worth the money is a real question with a real answer either way, and it depends on whether you have somebody internally who wants to own the rollout.
Are Sign In App and SwipedOn the same company?
They are now. Sign In Solutions, a PSG Equity portfolio company, completed a take-private acquisition of SmartSpace Software plc in May 2024, and SwipedOn was SmartSpace’s visitor management product. It was Sign In Solutions’ seventh acquisition since August 2021. If both are on your shortlist as independent options, they are not.
What happened to Proxyclick?
It was acquired by Condeco in January 2022, shortly after Condeco took growth investment from Thoma Bravo and JMI Equity. Condeco merged with iOFFICE and SpaceIQ to form Eptura, and Proxyclick was rebranded Eptura Visitor in 2025. The product still exists; it is now one part of a workplace management suite rather than a standalone visitor product.
Is Noon Elite an alternative to Eptura Visitor or Proxyclick?
For a UK manufacturing site of roughly 20 to 200 staff, with one reception or a handful of sites, yes: that is exactly who it is built for, and the price on the pricing page includes the iPad, the installation and the fire roll call. If you were on Proxyclick because it came as part of a wider workplace suite, or you need desk booking, room booking or a rollout across several countries, then no, and Eptura Visitor is the more honest fit. The rest of this page says where each product wins.
Why should we trust a comparison written by one of the vendors?
You should not, entirely. What you can do is check it: every claim about another company on this page comes from their own pricing page, their own newsroom or a regulatory filing, and all of them are linked at the bottom. We have deliberately made no claim about how good anybody else’s product is, because we have not run their software on your site and neither has anyone else who writes these pages. Where they are a better fit than us, that is written down too.
How current are these prices?
They were checked in September 2026 and the date is printed on the page so you can see how stale it is. Published prices move. Before you make a decision on a number you read here, check it against the vendor's own pricing page — and if you find something out of date on this page, tell us and we will fix it.
Who else should be on our shortlist?
Depending on your site: Envoy and Eptura Visitor at the enterprise end, Sign In App and SwipedOn in the mid market, Inventry if you are a school or a smaller UK site, and a handful of access control vendors who bundle visitor management with door hardware. If door access is the real project, start with the access control vendor rather than with any of us.
