ProVisit alternative

A ProVisit alternative with a published price, for a UK manufacturing site

Start with what ProVisit publishes that we do not have: digital invitations before a visit, contractor documents collected with expiry dates and alerts, and a Cyber Essentials Plus certificate. If any of those is a requirement, this page will not change your mind. The differences the other way are structural. We publish a price and they offer a quote. The iPad and stand are in our monthly price. And the person on the phone is the engineer who wrote it.

Facts about ProVisit read on 27 September 2026, from ProVisit’s own pages, linked below. We have no connection with ProVisit and they have had no part in this page.

What ProVisit publishes

Eight things, in ProVisit’s own words

None of this says anything about how good ProVisit’s product is. It is what their own pages say about price, hardware, permits, security and who they are, which is what a shortlist needs, and it is dated because published pages move.

  • PriceNone published. The pricing page says ProVisit is tailored to your requirements and offers “a clear, no-obligation quote”.
  • HardwareA reception kiosk and a freestanding kiosk, each supplied with an iPad or Windows tablet. Whether hardware is in the price is not published.
  • Permit to work“Manage inductions, agreements, work orders, permit to work and issued assets”, on the home page; “DIGITAL PERMIT TO WORK (Beta)” on the contractor management page.
  • Before arrivalDigital invitations and pre-booking for visitors and contractors, and contractor documents “with expiry dates and alerts”.
  • Fire“Generate instant fire evacuation reports and know exactly who's on site.”
  • Sites“One dashboard. Every site. Total control.”
  • Security“Cyber Essentials Plus Certified” and “Hosted on ISO 27001 Certified Infrastructure”.
  • CompanyNo legal entity, company number or owner named. Unit 4 Sentinel Court, Wilkinson Way, Blackburn, BB1 2EH.

Only the things that are published facts

The first three rows are ProVisit’s: things they publish that we do not have. There is no feature checklist here and no row where we score ourselves against their software. Where ProVisit has not published an answer, the cell says so rather than guessing.

 Noon EliteProVisit
Visitor invitationsNone. A visitor is recorded when they sign in at the kiosk. The Permit to Work module is the exception, and emails a contractor’s office a link before the day. Visitor pre-registration is in pilot with the first sites, and is not built.Published. “Speed up arrivals with digital invitations and self-service sign-in.” Their pre-booking page describes an invitation with a QR code that the visitor scans at the kiosk.
Contractor documentsOnly in the Permit to Work module, whose status is in the permit row: the contractor’s office uploads insurance, RAMS and other documents before the day, and your manager marks each one. Nothing tracks when a document expires. Expiry tracking is in pilot with the first sites, and is not built.Published. “Collect RAMS, insurance, licenses, qualifications and other requirements, with expiry dates and alerts”, on their contractor management page.
Security certificateNoon Elite Ltd does not hold ISO 27001, SOC 2 or Cyber Essentials Plus certification of its own. The infrastructure your data sits on is ISO 27001 certified.“Cyber Essentials Plus Certified” and “Hosted on ISO 27001 Certified Infrastructure”, on the home page. Their data page says it is the host that is compliant with ISO 27001.
Published price£150 a month plus VAT per site, on the pricing page. Modules £150 each. Setup from £599.Not published. Quote only: “Tell us about your workplace and we'll prepare a clear, no-obligation quote.” No figure in pounds appears anywhere on the site.
HardwareiPad and stand included in the monthly price, and replaced by us if they fail. Not published whether it is in the price. Their kiosk page offers a reception kiosk and a freestanding kiosk, each supplied with an iPad or Windows tablet, and the page shown after their quote form says “Final pricing can vary depending on selected features, integrations, and any required hardware.”
Permit to workA Permit to Work module on the same kiosk and in the same record, £150 a month plus VAT. It is in early access and has not yet run at a customer.Listed on the home page: “Manage inductions, agreements, work orders, permit to work and issued assets, with a complete record of activity”. Their contractor management page heads the feature “DIGITAL PERMIT TO WORK (Beta)”.
Who installs itWe do. Around the East Midlands in person; further afield in person by arrangement. The person who installs it wrote the software.Their kiosk page says they help choose the kiosk, configure the hardware and apply your branding. Who installs it on site is not stated.

A sign in and a fire roll call, in 100 seconds

A visitor signs in on the iPad. The alarm goes. The marshal opens the live list on their phone at the muster point and reads off who is still on site.

The player loads from YouTube only when you press play. Nothing is sent to Google before that. What happens when you do.

Choose them

When ProVisit is the right answer

  • You want visitors invited before the day. ProVisit publishes digital invitations with a QR code the visitor scans on arrival. We have no pre-registration for visitors.
  • Contractor documents need expiry dates and alerts. ProVisit publishes it. Our permit module stores what a contractor’s office uploads and lets your manager mark it, and nothing tracks when a document expires.
  • Your procurement policy asks for Cyber Essentials Plus. ProVisit states it holds it. Noon Elite Ltd holds no certification of its own, and if that is a requirement, the honest answer is no.
  • You have many sites, or several countries. At that size you want a vendor with a support rota, a status page and an account team. We are one person. That is a genuine risk at scale and no amount of copywriting changes it.

Look at us

When we are

  • You want the price before the call. £150 a month plus VAT per site, modules £150 each, setup from £599, on the pricing page. Nothing to request and nothing that varies with the hardware.
  • You want the hardware in the monthly price. The iPad, the floor stand and its locking enclosure are ours, included, and replaced at no cost if they fail. Your asset register does not change.
  • You want to speak to the person who wrote it. There is one of us. The person who answers the phone, installs the kiosk and changes your wording is the engineer who wrote the software.
  • You are a manufacturing site with an auditor, not an office with a lobby. Contractors, goods in, a declaration accepted on screen and a fire roll call of everybody signed in are the parts we built first, because they are the parts our customers get asked about.
Try it yourself, no sign-up

Sign in on a demonstration kiosk, then open the fire roll call on your phone. Do not enter real details: everything typed is deleted within the hour. Badge printing and Permit to Work are not in the demonstration.

Before you ask

The questions people looking at ProVisit ask us

How much does ProVisit cost?

ProVisit does not publish a price. On 27 September 2026 its pricing page said the system is tailored to your requirements and offered a no-obligation quote, and no figure in pounds appeared anywhere on the site. The page shown after its quote form says final pricing can vary depending on selected features, integrations and any required hardware. Ours is published: £150 a month plus VAT per site, setup from £599, iPad and stand included.

Does ProVisit do permit to work?

Its home page lists permit to work among its contractor features, and on 27 September 2026 its contractor management page headed the feature “DIGITAL PERMIT TO WORK (Beta)”. Our Permit to Work module is £150 a month plus VAT, and its status is in the permit row of the table above. Ask both of us which sites run the permit feature today.

Is the kiosk hardware included with ProVisit?

Its kiosk page offers a reception kiosk and a freestanding kiosk, each supplied with an iPad or Windows tablet, but no page we read says whether the hardware is in the price, bought, or rented. That is a question for their quote. Ours is in the monthly price, owned by us and replaced if it fails.

Is Noon Elite an alternative to ProVisit?

For a UK manufacturing site that wants a published price with the hardware in it and a fire roll call of everybody signed in, yes. If you need visitors invited before they arrive, contractor documents tracked to their expiry dates, or a supplier holding Cyber Essentials Plus, then no: ProVisit publishes all three and we have none of them.

Why should we trust an alternatives page written by a vendor?

You should not, entirely. What you can do is check it: every claim about ProVisit on this page comes from ProVisit’s own pages, linked at the bottom with the date they were read, and the first three rows of the table are things they publish that we do not have. We have made no claim about how good their product is, because we have not run it on your site.
