Somebody in your business wants a visitor and contractor sign in kiosk and has sent you here. This page is written for you rather than for them. It says what it costs over three years, what you would be tied to, and what happens if it breaks, if you want out, or if we stop trading. It takes about four minutes.
Every figure here is our published list price, and every term is in the agreement you would sign. If this page and the terms and conditions ever disagree, the terms win.

About £167 a month over the three years, all in. The list price is fixed for your first twelve months; years two and three are shown at today’s price and are not a quote. Setup is from £599: sites taking the printed badge module are quoted separately, because that price includes the label printer.

What you are tied to
Five terms, in the order you would ask about them
- Fourteen days to change your mindAn evaluation period from signing in which you can walk away without penalty.
- Twelve months, then monthlyA twelve month minimum term from the day the service starts. After that it rolls monthly, and thirty days’ notice ends it.
- The price is fixed for the first yearAfter twelve months it can change on thirty days’ written notice, and if you do not want to pay the new price you can give notice and leave. The years two and three figures above are today’s list price, not a quote.
- Leaving is two stepsExport your records from the dashboard, in a format that opens without our software, and send the hardware back within fourteen days.
- Modules are optional and separatePrinted badges with staff approval, and contractor permits to work, are £150 a month each and are added by a new schedule line, not a new agreement. Neither is needed for anything on this page.
What happens if it goes wrong
Five bad days, and what each one costs you
You are being asked to put your visitor records with a one person company. These are the questions that deserve an answer before anybody gets on a call, not after.
The iPad fails
Standard hardware failure is covered. A configured replacement is shipped in three to five working days at no cost.
Somebody drops it
Accidental damage, loss and theft are the site’s responsibility, so a cracked screen is chargeable at the actual cost of repair or replacement. It is a commercial grade iPad in a locking steel stand, which is the practical protection.
The one person who runs it is unavailable
The kiosk does not depend on him being awake. It is hosted software on managed infrastructure, so sign in, roll call and logging carry on as normal. What needs a human is a change or a fault, and for those you have a direct number rather than a ticket queue.
Something goes wrong with the data
Noon Elite is registered with the ICO, a data processing agreement comes as standard, and the company carries £5m of professional indemnity and liability insurance for IT and cyber operations.
Noon Elite stops trading
You would receive ninety days’ written notice and a final full export before any account was closed, and that commitment sits in the agreement you sign. Your records are exportable at any time in a format that needs no Noon Elite software, so a site that exports on a schedule always holds its own evidence.

What it is for
Why your colleague is asking
Usually because somebody outside the business has started asking for evidence: a customer audit, an ISO assessor, an insurer, an inspector after an incident. The question is always a version of “who was on your site on this date, and can you prove they were told your rules”, and a paper book answers it slowly and badly.
The second reason is the fire roll call. When the alarm goes, the book is on a desk inside the building everybody has just left. The kiosk puts the live list of visitors and contractors on any phone at the assembly point.
We cannot put a number on what either of those is worth to you, and we would distrust anybody who did. What we can say is what it costs, above, and that it is the same number every month.

What your IT and data people will ask

- What IT has to doVery little. Nothing is installed on your network: no server, no agent, no inbound firewall rules. The kiosk needs WiFi and a mains socket.

Being straight with you
When you should not sign this off
- You want the lowest software price and will buy, mount and support an iPad yourselves. Sign In App’s entry tier is £415 a site a year, less than a third of ours, and we say so on our comparison page.
- You have twenty sites, or you need a vendor with a support rota and an account team. This is one person, and at that scale that is a genuine risk.
- Visitors are one line in a wider workplace project with desks and meeting rooms. Buy a suite.
- Nobody outside the business is asking you to prove who was on site, and a paper book has never caused a problem. You probably do not need this yet.
