Automation integrators and machine builders
Visitor sign in for automation integrators and machine builders
Customers in for an acceptance test accept your NDA and your workshop rules on an iPad at the front door, contractors are recorded the same way, and everyone signed in is on a fire roll call your marshal reads from a phone.
From £599 setup and £150 a month plus VAT, iPad and stand included. Last reviewed 1 October 2026.
Who this is for
A workshop where the visitors are other people’s engineers
You design and build machines, lines and cells for other manufacturers. Before each one ships, the customer sends a team to test it on your floor, sometimes for a day and sometimes for a fortnight. They are in a working workshop, beside builds that belong to somebody else, and the visitor book is a pad on the counter.
What gets asked at the front door
Who asks an integrator to show who was on site
The customer whose machine is on your floor
Their drawings, their process and often their product are in your workshop for months, and other customers walk past. They ask how visitors are bound to confidentiality, and what you can show for it.
Your fire marshal
An acceptance test puts a customer’s team in your building for days. When the alarm goes, the marshal needs to know which of them are inside today.
Whoever let the contractor in
Electricians, guarding fitters and specialist subcontractors work on a build alongside your own people. After anything goes wrong, the first question is who was here and what they were told.
What the kiosk does
A record of who came through the door, and what they accepted
Customers and contractors, one screen
Name, company, who they are here to see, and a registration if they have driven in. A customer’s engineer in for an acceptance test and a contractor on a build sign in the same way, each day they come.
Your NDA and site rules, accepted by name
Your confidentiality wording and your workshop rules are on screen before anybody is signed in, with Go Back and I Accept. The record keeps who accepted which exact wording, and when.
A roll call on a phone
When the alarm goes, your fire marshal opens the live list on their phone at the muster point and reads every visitor and contractor currently signed in.
Somebody told, even with nobody at the desk
Each sign in posts a message to your Microsoft Teams or Slack channel with the name, the company and who they are here to see, so a customer is not left waiting in an empty front office.
For jobs in your own workshop that need a permit, thePermit to Work module is in early access, at £150 a month on top of the platform.

See it work
A sign in and a fire roll call, in 100 seconds
A visitor uses the iPad to sign in. The alarm goes. The marshal opens the live list on their phone at the muster point and reads off who is still on site.
The player loads from YouTube only when you press play. Nothing is sent to Google before that. What happens when you do.
What it costs
One price, in public
Setup from £599, then £150 a month plus VAT. The iPad, the stand, hosting and support are included, the iPad and stand are replaced if they fail, and nothing is charged per visitor or per user.

Being straight with you
What this does not do
- It records an acceptance, not a signature, and it does not make an NDA binding. That is a question for whoever wrote the agreement.
- There is one wording per site, shown to everyone. A customer’s own NDA, where they ask you to accept theirs, is still paperwork between the two companies.
- The roll call lists visitors and contractors who signed in at the kiosk. It does not list your own staff.
- It records people. It does not track or count machines or robots, keep a visitor away from another customer’s build, or open doors.
- It does not check a contractor’s competence, insurance or RAMS on the platform, and it does not make a site compliant with anything.
Before you ask
The questions integrators ask on the first call
Can visitors accept our NDA when they sign in?
Yes. Your non-disclosure wording is shown on the iPad before sign in, and the sign in is refused until it is accepted. The record keeps who accepted which exact wording and when. There is no signature pad in the visitor sign in, and the record does not by itself make the agreement binding.
A customer’s team is here all week for an acceptance test. Do they sign in each day?
Yes. Each arrival is its own sign in, with your wording accepted again, and each person is on the fire roll call until signed out. A visitor still signed in at 23:59 UTC is signed out automatically.
Do contractors sign in the same way as visitors?
Yes. On the platform a contractor uses the same screen as a visitor, accepts the same site wording, and is on the fire roll call until signed out.
What does it cost for a site our size?
The same as for anybody: setup from £599, then £150 a month plus VAT, with the iPad, the stand, hosting and support included. Nothing is charged per visitor or per user.
